Spring-Summer à la Mode

La vie est belle

Life is beautiful and fashion also becomes more playful especially when we transit into Spring Summer!

For the past couple of years, somehow I always ended up in Paris during this time, either for a holiday, photo shoot or stopover while visiting the folks in nearby Britain.

The one thing that stood out about the French is not only their ability to perfect the art of savoir faire but also their super power to look stylish all the time, even while shopping for brie!

Despite the warmer season, it can still get pretty chilly in the mornings and evenings in Paris. So no matter how little they wear, the french fashionistas always make sure they complete the look with a tres chic coat.

I’ve read a few fashion portals and it seems like this season’s trend centres around colors, florals, boho and motifs. Fortunately, those are already the key themes of my wardrobe staples but I really wanna switch things around this time.

Therefore, for this ensemble, I’m going for a more subtle combination of white shirt and ripped jeans, then cosying it up with a bright garden themed spring coat to elevate the look. Ouais!

However, the look still hovers along the cooler and softer side of the color spectrum. It’s summer after all, so I’m also looking at the warmer and brighter sides of the pantone swatch book. Think orange shoes and a red crossover bag! Haha!

The look is complete! Scroll down to check out my Parisian inspired Spring-Summer look!

Are you looking forward to creating your very own Parisian style story? I might have a clue.

Welcome to the creme de la creme of this outfit post! Haha!

For many years, French fashion boutiques have been limited to the peripherals of the french borders. Well, great news belles because all that is about to change. 🙂

Enter Rue Madame, the fashion boutique that promises to give you a truly magnifique Parisian style shopping experience. I’ve seen the online store and realize the boutique curates its style offerings very carefully and only brings in brands that epitomize the timeless french style. Some of its notable brands include See by Chloe, Christophe Sauvat, Seour and Paul and Joe Sister.

So if you’re looking to give your wardrobe a touch of La Belle France, Rue Madame could be your one stop shop to the best of french fashion. 😛

Finally, merci beaucoup for reading this post! I hope you had as much as as I did. What are you wearing on your Spring Summer travels? Share with me by commenting below!

Meanwhile, have a terrific day and au revoir!

Your friend, Juliana
