中秋节快乐!
When I was a kid, aside from Chinese New Year, the Mid-Autumn Festival was another traditional celebration I always looked forward to.
That’s when we’d play with lanterns alongside the neighbours, while my grandma and mum would chat with them over homemade mooncakes and tea, watching us play.
One of my fondest memories was the informal lantern competition, where we’d stroll through the streets in the evening, admiring the different lanterns everyone was carrying. It was so exciting, especially the toy lanterns that played music! Haha!
These days, while I don’t carry lanterns anymore, mooncakes are still a staple in our household. And now that I’m older, tea has become part of the tradition too.
Speaking of teas and mooncakes, check out my new Tily Tea Harvest Box Contemporary, which includes Mulberry mooncakes, their special Autumn Blossoms tea blend (which I’m enjoying right now), and an assortment of popular teas from Tily Tea.
I’ve been having these teas every night as a caffeine-free nightcap, and the aromatic herbal flavours make me feel like I’m in a spa.
The Mulberry Mooncakes are made with low-sugar white lotus seed paste, mulberries, mulberry leaves, and a single yolk. Yum!!
This entire set is a perfect addition to your Mid-Autumn celebration and also makes a great gift for your loved ones.
Grab this delightful set from Tily Tea’s website, or better yet, swing by their booth at Takashimaya’s Mid-Autumn Fair happening now until 17th September 2024!
Thank you for being here! 中秋节快乐!🥮✨🏮🍵
