Now click for a quick and affordable fashion pick-me-up! I heard through the grapevine that there’s a homey little store at Scape Underground that carries nifty designs from all over Asia.
So earlier this month, I visited Scape Underground and amidst the flourishing fashion shops, I found J Cottz – the store that my fashion-loving friends have been raving about.
Besides good quality and pocket-friendly dresses, the store also showcased adorable trinkets, accessories and stylish fascinators for the fashionista at heart.
Most of the items were carefully crafted by Joanna, the designer and owner of the store. We had a good chat and I must say, I was won over by her wide variety of clothing styles and of course also her winsome smile. :p
Here are my picks (for under $30)!
Blue Sweetheart Dress
The quality is impeccable for its affordable price tag. The fabric is thick and comfortable and the workmanship is excellent with not many loose threads spotted.
The dress is also subtly adorned with studs on its thick shoulder straps…
And an open heart at the back!

Undoubtedly, that’s my most favorite feature of the dress.
I’m also absolutely in love with its sweetheart neckline as it adds volume to the bustline. Haha!
Let it shine against a pair of cherry pink lips and an elegant clutch, and you’re good to go! 😛
4.5 Honeyz crowns!

This bag is going to be a fab conversation starter! Haha!
Priced at only SGD19, this whimsical bag offers you style, statement, convenience and versatility.
It’s A5-sized compartment touts a larger storage capacity than most clutches. It could fit my card holder, mobile phone, a foundation compact case, some lip glosses and my keys.
Here’s a peek of its interior:
I was happy to find a chain tucked inside the bag. Love convertible bags!
Its flap fastens with a magnetic closure to ensure items do not fall out easily.
Needless to say, the gold tones and ideal shape made it my perfect companion for shopping trips and dinner parties.
