You are the pumpkin to my spice!
It's that time of the year again where Starbucks delights our tastebuds with their signature Pumpkin Spice Latte!
I profess I fall prey to this yummilicious autumnal drink every time they launch it, then find myself feeling guilty right after as it makes a serious dent on my financial and calorie wallet.
So this year, I decided to create my own Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe that (in my honest opinion, and my husband and brother's) tastes just as good as the real thing at three times less the calories! Such a bargain, don't you think?
Now let's add some scream and sugar! 👻
Let's talk ingredients!
Ingredients:
50g of pumpkin puree (18kcal)
4g of instant coffee (12kcal)
3 dashes of Pumpkin Spice powder (0kcal)
120g of skimmed milk (38kcal)
15g of Walden Farms Maple Walnut Syrup or 2 Equal Classic Sweetener tablets (0kcal)
100g of boiling water (0kcal)
10g of whipped cream (24kcal)
Total calories of Jules' Pumpkin Spice Latte (295ml):
92kcal
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together with a spoon or milk frother in a microwave-safe cup.
Then put the cup in the microwave and heat it for 30 seconds.
And et voila! Your very own low-calorie Pumpkin Spice Latte is ready! 'Bone' appetit! 💀
