After almost a decade of writing on this blog, I can't believe I never thought to do this - compile a 'monthly favourites' post for you belles and beaus!
I'm going to try my best to make this a regular series on this platform. Think of it like a beauty buffet spread where I share all the skincare and makeup products that meet my personal beauty protocols. Okay - I may occasionally sneak in a fitness or fashion fave or two but you bet it'll only be products or services I swear by.

Fun fact! The parcel arrived in the midst of my Halloween shoot so we just quickly moved the scary props aside for this photo and that explains why it looks so similar to my Halloween photos. Little Salem and my skeletal bird were just a few centimetres away. Haha!

Seeing these exquisite diamond-esque bottles, my imagination immediately runs rampant, taking me to the pages of Agatha Christie, as if I was on a lavish cruise down the River Nile in the heydays of the 1930s!

A heart-to-heart...
How have you been? With only two months left on the calendar of one of the most tumultuous years of our generation, are you looking forward to a hopefully brighter 2021?
Being a business owner during this current climate of uncertainty has, more so than ever, reminded me to adopt a more sensible approach towards my spending habits, especially during the festive season. "Saving for a rainy day" has become a much more fundamental principle in my daily life. These days, I have to ensure that every penny is spent as wisely as possible on products and services that will only add value to my routine. The same goes for my time. Even though the pandemic didn't cause us to lose time - we still have our full 24 hours a day, the lockdowns and inability to travel to see our family abroad has clearly made us fully conscious of the little time we have with our loved ones.
As Guy Finley famously said, “Each moment of life is only as precious as is our ability to attend to it.” Bobby and I now keep closely in touch with our family by video-calling them everyday.
Going forward, you may also notice a slight change in the type of content I'll be sharing on this platform. Less 'new stuff' and more health and wellness-focused content that will hopefully help you navigate these difficult times of physical-distancing and global uncertainty.
2020 is all about reshuffling our priorities and identifying what truly matters.
